Rackfish AB, 556614-3243, Uppsala Slott, 752 37 Uppsala, Sweden, is a provider of internet services such as hosting, CDN, domain names, web hosting, servers, video distribution, live streaming, video on demand and more. Rackfish AB is the data controller for the processing of personal data relating to, among others, our customers, users and other contacts we have in the course of our business.
We actively work to minimise the use of personal data and to protect personal privacy. This policy may therefore be updated from time to time, which will be announced on our website www.rackfish.com/legal.

Rackfish handles customer data linked to agreements or services, such as names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, personal identity numbers and IP addresses. We also hold data about individuals and companies we are in contact with where no agreement exists, for example names, email addresses and telephone numbers. Finally, we store traffic data, such as logs of IP addresses, traffic, logins and similar events. Our Cookie-policy can be seen in our cookie-popup.

We need to collect personal data in order to sell, deliver, support, inform about and market our services. We need to collect data to know who owns a service and who is responsible for paying for it, so that we can invoice our deliveries and fulfil our agreements. Login information is necessary to maintain security. We also need to analyse and follow up on our activities. Direct marketing (which you can unsubscribe from).
We sometimes obtain data from third parties. This may be to complete information we need to handle a delivery (for example regarding authorised signatories, company registration numbers or registered addresses). To be able to market our services, we sometimes obtain data from, for example, the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket), Bisnode, UC, social media and other external sources.
We share personal data with external suppliers in order to deliver and manage our services, in some cases also outside the EU/EEA, in order to provide the services requested or, for marketing purposes, to be able to offer you our services. We will of course ensure that the information is not used for purposes other than those we state for delivering the service, and that subcontractors handle transferred data in accordance with applicable law. Rackfish may also disclose or fully transfer personal data, and registers of such data, to a third party if that third party takes over all or part of Rackfish’s business. We may also share personal data between companies in the same group, in order to fulfil the delivery where we share certain resources.
Rackfish stores personal data about you as a customer for as long as there is a customer relationship, or for as long as necessary in accordance with this policy or to comply with other laws and regulations. Accounting data is stored for at least 7 years, but no longer than 10 years. Other collected data is deleted within a reasonable time. In many services, customers can delete data themselves or ask us for assistance in having data deleted. Personal data used for invoicing is kept for as long as it is required as supporting documentation for accounting purposes. If we have received consent to process information, we store it for as long as the consent remains in place; consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Backups are kept in accordance with the specification of each service, but never for longer than 25 months. Traffic data, logs and similar data are normally deleted within 6 months, unless they form the basis for billing, in which case they may be kept for 25 months.
You have the right to have your data corrected or deleted, and Rackfish will do this without undue delay where possible, taking into account applicable laws and regulations and a balancing of interests. If you believe that this balancing is incorrect, you have the right to object to it. You can also withdraw your consent and lodge a complaint about the processing with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). On request, you can access your personal data once a year by means of a register extract. If you are still not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Personal data breaches shall be reported to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) without undue delay and no later than within 72 hours. We shall also inform the data subjects if there is a risk that their rights may be affected.
